P7 R21 have been learning how to spot different tactics to try and manipulate others. BroomhillSchool We also created our own support circle of people we can talk to if we are worried about anything online.

P6 R15 have been learning about internet safety. This included exploring different ways you can be manipulated online such as threats, bribery, flattery and offers that are too good to be true. We discussed how to spot these tactics and how to deal with them. BroomhillSchool

P3 R11 have had lessons with Ant and Dec this week! We have been learning about the different ways to pay for things and which would be the best one depending on cost and type. BroomhillSchool

P2/3 r8 have been learning about internet safety. This has included how to keep safe when playing games online. We made sure we knew who our trusted adults were who we could talk to if we ever felt worried about anything online. BroomhillSchool

P5 r18 have been learning about internet safety. This included learning about fake news, how to spot it and what to do to try and find out if it’s real or not. We discovered it was much harder than we thought! BroomhillSchool

P4/5 r19 were learning how to keep safe online. Today we explored the difference between public and private settings. We shared ideas what to do if someone we don’t know sends us a message or comments unkind words. BroomhillSchool

As part of internet safety P2 R9 have been learning not to share personal information. We also identified warning signs our body tells us when something doesn’t feel okay. We know to tell a trusted adult if we are worried or scared. BroomhillSchool
