As an experienced ST6 psychiatrist I am asked to refer to a specialist consultant and team for ADHD. What the cinnamon toast is this nonsense. You can't just rock up and diagnose.

Some recent debate in Parliament about the GP independent contractor model. But let’s be clear. NHS GPs in the UK are not “independent”. They work under a very tightly regulated NHS contract. It’s not a model of independent practice that doctors outside the UK would recognise.
