Thrilled to have met students and teachers from Bellarmine and congratulate them on making it to Center for Civic Ed.'s #WTPFinals . It's always exciting to see young leaders engaging in their democracy—they're making Washington state proud!

Two Connecticut high school teams made it the finals of the national We the People competition - from Trumbull and Staples/Westport. Exciting! I met with both teams during their visit to the Capitol.

Our last day was spent at Mount Vernon, home of George Washington. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip than this year and ending like today.
