The Director of Public Service for the City of Kent has announced a snow emergency parking ban effective tonight at 7:00 PM, February 2, 2022. The ban will remain in effect until further notice. Please check back on social media or the alert banner on kentohio.org.

**NEWS RELEASE** The westbound lane of E. Summit Street will be closed Tuesday, March 29th, from West Campus Center Dr. to Ted Boyd Dr. The closure, due to underground utility work, will take place from 7:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. The westbound detour will be Campus Center Drive.

The South Water Street and Main Street Resurfacing Project is set to begin the week of June 6th. While traffic will be maintained there will be scheduled road closures throughout the project. For more details on this and other City projects visit kentohio.org/179/Engineering

Last night, Girl Scouts Troop 90450 visited Kent PD. These extraordinary young ladies have spent weeks assembling what they call "Brave Bags," which are backpacks full of supplies and comforting gifts to give children who are removed from their homes for safety reasons. TY 90450!
