At 211 PM MDT (Oct 15, 2021), check out the remaining snow cover over far western #SDwx, northeast #WYwx, and southeast #MTwx. Image from GOES-16 day cloud phase distinction product via CIRA/RAMMB. A loop from today: col.st/B6N3p You can see some melting, but not much.

Warm and dry weather will continue through Sun and Mon. A storm system will affect the area on Tue and Wed, bringing rain, and snow. The best chance for snow will be across NE WY and the Black Hills. At this time, it looks like snow amounts may be light to moderate. #wywx #sdwx
