UPDATE ON BEACON'S: City staff and Scripps Institute of Oceanography staff continue to monitor the bluff failure at Beacon’s Beach. There appears to be continued minor movement on the slope, causing additional distress and damage to the trail. 1/X

The City of Encinitas is pleased to announce the Beacons Beach access trail and parking lot are scheduled to reopen for public use mid-day on Thursday, June 30, 2022. 1/x

Preparations to repair the trail began last week and the repairs will be completed on Wed, June 29, 2022. Final cleaning and prep work will take place on Wed afternoon and Thurs morning. Please continue to avoid the area during these final stages of the repair work. 2/x
