The Taylor Public Library remains closed today (Wednesday, July 3) due to an air conditioner outage. We are currently awaiting repairs and will post an update about when the Library will reopen as soon as possible. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding!

The Taylor Public Library will reopen today (7/5) for normal business hours: noon to 6 PM. The Library is cooler, but still awaiting parts for a permanent fix to the ac unit.

The City's Water Department is currently in the process of replacing a fire hydrant in the area of Fowzer Street between Ninth Street and 12th Street. Residents and businesses in this area may experience low to no water pressure during this time.

Williamson County's contractor will be closing Pivot Drive at Carlos G. Parker starting on Wednesday, Aug. 14, to reconstruct the intersection. This closure could last up to one week. North Drive and Meadow Lane should be used as the alternate routes during the closure.

Due to a significant pressure decrease from a water main break on 4th St, portions of Taylor are under a boil water notice, & residents within the affected area (see map below) will be experiencing low water pressure until repairs are complete. More here: bit.ly/3Nf48Kv
