The iPhone of the 18th century — Yesterday I had the chance to visit the Pavillon de l‘Horloge at the Louvre. One outstanding piece for me is this „Boussole de mine“ from 1777. It has tons of utility for geographic surveys and natural historical explorations. #HistTech #STS
