The 2024-2025 cadet leadership are attending training academies for their new rank and position to prepare for the incoming class arrival in August. In these training academies, cadets learn their duties and responsibilities for teaching the Class of 2028.

Brig. Gen. Brian Vile, Commandant of the Army Cyber Command, spoke to cadets in the Army ROTC program to show an overview of the opportunities within the cyber operations career field. The Citadel educates tomorrow’s leaders, which includes being prepared for this growing field.

Officials from the Dutch military academy, the Koninklijke Militaire Academie or KMA, met with leadership to discuss the possibility of exchanges between the two schools. International partnerships like this allow The Citadel to offer more out-of-classroom experiences.

Lt. Gen. John Caine, the CIA's Associate Director for Military Affairs, met with cadets to talk about leadership and the military-intelligence relationship through his experience as an Air Force pilot, a member of the White House staff and his current position in the CIA.

The Gold Star Journal Academic Conference celebrated the talented cadets and students whose papers, photographs and drawings were selected for this year’s edition. This event showed the immense support for academic and creative achievements at The Citadel.

Bravo and Delta Company went head-to-head in the Regimental Championship for ultimate frisbee. Delta was victorious, earning company pride and points toward the BOV Trophy, an award for the company that excels in physical fitness through PT tests, intramurals and club sports.
