When you are half way into a run, are on a slightly overgrown forest trail in a complete zen state of happiness and contemplation and then hit a face level spider web…..once you get the web off you..you know that spider is somewhere.

Blows to one’s ego are generally blessings for the soul. Failure is generally a spring board to legendary if you look at it properly.

I’ve had a little more time to play Space Marine 2. Put in another 30 minutes. I’ve changed my mind. It’s pretty epic and better than the first one. If I can clear up some spare time/white space hopefully I can get some solid hobby/gaming time this weekend for once.

And so the next phase begins of rebuilding a weak base of mathematical skills. Two months ago I started at 4th grade math and worked my way through all the concepts to Algebra (hours a practice daily). Now this and then Algebra II.

The Re-blueing on math has been fun and enjoyable. Reading Aristotle is always extremely worthwhile and interesting but I can’t classy it as enjoyable. Thinking after after reading portions and thinking about thinking is enjoyable but I could never just relax and read his stuff.

Hit a an amazing 45 min run with this legend, sully_rwb tbis morning and now walking into a General Surgery appointment for my hernia. A little unorthodox but hey…..

It’s always incredible to go see Special Forces selection doing its thing each month and then being able to see Qualification Course graduations. It took a little over two years from when I passed selection to graduating the Q course. Excited for those donning the Beret today.

In a world of mediocrity, be legendary.

I was part of a conversation last night where several people were having an emotionally charged discussion. I was just listening but interjected once to ask where they were getting their info from. They both said from internet memes and tik tok. They weren’t joking. So strange.

I appreciate when people notice. I’ve been taking collagen supplements and have been using a good mix of nighttime and morning lotions. It’s always nice to be noticed and complimented on your efforts in life. People should take note.
