Moving on to Clementine and Churchill's first anniversary in 1909, and this letter from "your most loving Clemmie Kat, Miaow!", though "no letter from the bad little Pug yet. The Kat's tail is gradually getting its curl back as you see from the picture!" (ref CSCT 1/3/23).

Day 3 of our Valentines series, still in 1909, as Clementine writes "Good-night my darling Pug - I must have lessons in Kat-drawing as your pugs are so much better than my Kats. Your loving Clemmie" (complete with kitten, or their baby daughter Diana). (Ref CSCT 1/3/37).

Day 4 of our Valentines thread, and this time Clemmie the Kat has been the slow one, in 1918: “I was dozing peacefully & innocently in my basket with my tail over my eyes when your scolding about no letters arrived”, so she hastily promises to write soon! (Ref CSCT 1/10/3)

And finally, in our Valentines series, here is Clementine in 1943, after nearly 35 years of marriage, when the (purring) Kat informs her husband that she "would love a little visit presently" (ref CSCT 1/27/20).
