What I loved about listening to ChristinaGoldschmidt career journey is that it shows that the ability to lead as a design executive is not reserved for more design-only craftspeople, but a range of experiences that can add to your ability to lead a function + work across the business.

While some other executives I've heard embrace the balance between design and business more fluidly, there are leaders like ChristinaGoldschmidt and Jehad Affoneh who emphasize this importance. But I've also seen design execs talk about overcompensating and losing differentiation.

In ending, it's always nice to see leaders being very open and honest about their challenges. I loved ChristinaGoldschmidt's candor about mental health and why it is so important for designers who often tie identities to our profession as designer. Thank you Christina!
