Spotted fuzzy green spores on blueberries 🫐 in my moist chamber. Microscopy revealed hyaline conidiophores with globose, phialidic, and annelidic conidia, which is a classic sign of Aspergillus sp., a common problem in postharvest fruit rot. Had the chance to perform diagnostic on young blueberry plants looked drought-stressed: chlorosis, wilting, dieback. But microscopy after 2 days revealed coenocytic hyphae, coralloid mycelium, and swellings. Classic features of #Phytophthora root rot.
