Interview on rise of Singapore as Safe Haven. The Asian nation unseats Uruguay in Global Geopolitical Safety Ranking. The latter has managed to spend three years in the Top 3 though. The construction of a Gold hub contributed to the upgrade. financialsense.com/podcast/21489/…

South Korea has been investing in Peru for years. It can now co-manufacture essential parts and even ships in Peru. It is a smart win-win for both countries. Given the complex situation with North Korea, Seoul does well in diversifying geographically - across the Pacific.

By the early 1980s the Vulcan fleet was 25–30 years old. Fatigue from sustained low-level flying caused serious structural wear, and keeping the aircraft airworthy became increasingly expensive and manpower-intensive. A sad farewell to a true beauty

We also grew up with healthy foods - eating fish and rice twice a day. We are not crazy about overly sweet things, and soups are a very common dish. Even the take-away food is mostly what most Japanese would cook at home - healthy. Wait, some English people cook very healthy too!

US Prof. Sachs writes an open letter to German Chancellor Merz. In it Prof. Sachs urges Chancellor Merz to „learn about history“ and reminds him of certain historic events Germany was involved in. A tough letter. berliner-zeitung.de/politik-gesell…

Imagine living in America before any income or payroll taxes. Everything you earned you kept. You didn’t have to track every dollar, keep books, or hire lawyers and accountants to comply. You weren’t accountable to the government for your labor. You owned it. You were truly free.
