Temporal interference stimulation (TIS) My PhD student Jill von Conta just published an article on recording EEG during TIS. It is important to use an amplifier with wide dynamic range (e.g. 24 bit) and to avoid non-linearities: authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S26…

My PhD student Jill von Conta just published the results of her pre-registered study on temporal interference stimulation. Read for yourself: authors.elsevier.com/a/1fO~C2VHY4SF…

Congrats to Hatice Şahin Ippoliti and Maren Bertheau! They just won scholarships of the Heinz Neumüller Foudation for their respective disseration projects within the research training Group SEAS. 🥳

We were able to modulate the P300 amplitude by aligning delta-tACS to visual stimulation: ERP-aligned delta transcranial alternating current stimulation modulat... sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

My post-doc, Sreekari Vogeti, investigated whether near-threshold auditory perception is modulated by alpha or delta transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), or positive and negative direct current: sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

My former postdoc Cindy Boetzel published a review article on how to modulate ERPs with tACS and it is open access: doi.org/10.1007/s10548…

We just published an article decomposing human EEG alpha activity into periodic (oscillatory) and aperiodic (1/f) activity. It turns out that aperiodic alpha amplitude increases over time on taks while periodic activity is modulated by tACS: authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S19…

My PhD student Maren Bertheau found that ERPs reveal whether a user finds the behavior of an autonomous acceptable! nature.com/articles/s4159…
