Bringing traditional seaside experiences into the heart of the city was a great success - it even rained. Enjoyed feeding the donkeys & nor did the wet weather put off the crowds of local animal lovers!

Yesterday wasn’t the best day for photos, but I finally made it to Ballyquintin Point - the most Easterly part of Ards & North Down, just past Portaferry. There’s a rugged walk and nature reserve. The scenic loop is good on a grey day but must be spectacular in the sun.

The terrible beauty of Queen’s Parade. Decades of neglect but surrounded by magical enchantment. Our duty as local Councillors is to be true to the potential that is Bangor. They demolished this area as a boy, I hope to help rebuild it as a man.

Final day of our summer programme ended with a mobile petting zoo. Not entirely sure how wrapping a boa constrictor around your neck adds to well-being, but I survived 😮‍💨 Thanks to Party Animals from Newtownards and great fun was had by the youngsters from Puddleducks, NOW
