I don't know if or who is keeping the boys all-time Track & Field record book, but Marathon's Chris Marcell threw 220'8" in the discuss last night, which very well could be the state record. It is the second-best in the country for high schoolers this year.

How about this one - junior from Marathon (Wis.). For perspective, best in Illinois (according to IHSA website) for any meet is 208-11 by Lake Park's Dan Block (2009) sectional; state meet is 205-11 by Edwardsville's AJ Epenesa (2016 prelims).
