When the schedule is announced, if the Bills are one of the first two games, don’t be surprised if you hear leaks that Rattler is winning the comp in camp. I think they’d throw Rattler to the wolves against the Bills and then let Shough come in slow.

Buffalo is Week 4. I’m calling now that a non-Shough QB starts the first four weeks and then Shough comes in Week 5 after the Saints start 0-4 or 1-3. Shough is Kellen’s guy, so I’m predicting Kellen doesn’t throw Shough to the wolves but offers Rattler as a sacrificial lamb.

I also think Moore knows the team will struggle out the gate and doesn’t want Shough taking those lumps. First four weeks are tough. I think Rattler is a sacrificial lamb who the org. is OK with if he proves them wrong.
