[1/2] 50% women sentenced in 2021 received short sentences of 6 months of less, says latest Prison Reform Trust briefing. Women are more likely to be in prison for minor offences, often rooted in socio-economic disparities (e.g petty theft or TV license evasion), and abuse.

We have been running some very successful Lifeboat sessions here at Chorlton - what a nice way to spend a weekend! ⛵️

Wellbeing is important in any environment that can affect mental health. We have recently been working at an approved premises for ex-offenders. Giving them the opportunity to connect with nature, grow plants and focus has really benefited the participants #WorldMentalHealthDay
