I chatted with Ryk Goddard about my research on ABC Hobart this morning. I shared some key messages from young people about how to have intergenerational conversations about climate change (from 2:18:30 onwards). 📻🌏 University of Tasmania Sciences and Engineering at University of Tasmania abc.net.au/listen/program…

In my effort to become an ex-X user I used this form to access the blue above. It was quick and easy, and if I get any codes I'll donate them here! Hoping to see you all over there!

Having read the latest "save" utas flyer, do yourself a favour and drop it in the recycling bin and avoid the false hysteria. I don't recognise the uni they write about.

Climate change education must empower kids to shape the future they will inherit. As research from University of Tasmania + Deakin University experts reveals, climate action – rather than the scientific cause of the problem – is the greatest concern for Australian children. theconversation.com/how-long-befor…

Over half of conservation degrees had no social science element. To be honest I'm surprised it wasn't fewer! So important for conservationists to be interdisciplinary.

Do high #insurance premiums drive risk mitigation or relocation away from climate-exposed areas? In this blog, I explain that price is a signal for climate adaptation - but not by making individual homeowners responsible to 'fix' the climate & insurance crises.

So grateful for the chance to work on a fully funded 3 year project to develop game-based methods to engage the public in climate adaptation decision-making. It’s a dream! And feeling very lucky to have had the support of so many amazing colleagues University of Tasmania and beyond.
