At the Darwin and Croft the focus is on the young people, but today on World Mental Health Day we remember to also focus on ourselves in order to be able to support others

It’s been a busy and rewarding time! Including safe-wards implementation, observation, presenting at workforce learning events, supporting the Peer Support Development Day to standing as part of 3 generations of peer support and receiving an award—grateful for the growth 🌻

This #WorldMentalHealthDay2024 Let’s continue to hold that everyday is a chance to raise awareness, support and show kindness to one another, and prioritize mental well-being. Remember, it’s okay to ask for help and take one day at a time🌻

In honour of #WorldMentalHealthDay2024 I wanted to share some vulnerability in a poem I recently wrote on my experiences of living with chronic health challenges and finding hope along that journey. I forever hold gratitude for those that check in and walk this path with me 🌻
