My daughter has to invest a small portion of her allowance and I’m constantly amazed at how her choices always outperform mine 😂 This girl invested in Five Below when it was $68, now it’s $231.

I’m so sick and tired of people trying to drive Jewish and Black Washingtonians apart. To call someone who grew up in DC, who went to Walls, and represents Ward 4! an antisemite for agreeing with so, so many of us about Israel’s horrific actions and Gaza is deplorable.

What I appreciate about election season is how much you learn about what was happening when you weren’t paying attention—when life was lifing and you didn’t have time to dig in. It becomes less about politics and more about who you trust when your back is turned.

Here are the details of this ICE-MPD arrest. An MPD officer working one-on-one with an ICE HSI agent stopped an immigrant delivery driver for a traffic infraction. Instead of issuing a citation, MPD arrested him, drove him to Second District, then let ICE inside to detain him.

administrative burdens don’t take precedent over transparency. MPD is already required to document arrests. simply listing federal officers present and describing the use of force is a just request. Two people in Ward 7 were shot at & almost killed and one person was murdered.

having an eviction moratorium at the height of the pandemic, when so many people had lost their jobs & had no options, indisputably saved thousands of lives. how cynical do you have to be to cite it as a policy failure? people literally die when their utilities get shut off btw.
