CTA councillors are primed and ready to participate in the Annual Meeting of Council in Regina.

Government’s numbers don’t add up. Minister Wyant claims there are more teachers in classrooms. But the facts are enrollment is up by 2.1% and number of full-time teachers dropped by 1%. He also said only the opposition is complaining about how many students are in classrooms.

As Jeremy Cockrill has stated (and we agree!), the best deals are negotiated at the table as part of the bargaining process. Although government now openly acknowledges there are complexity concerns in schools, it refuses to make any commitments where it can be held accountable.
