The future has landed in Alabama. Earlier this month, the AL National Guard's 187th Fighter Wing fielded F-35 Lightning IIs to carry on a new generation of its Red Tail legacy. The 187th is slated to receive about 25 jets in 2024 as part of its new F-35 mission.
