#breaking: Greenville Police just confirmed an officer injured in a shooting last night has died. I spoke with an officer who said the department is grieving the loss and they will be releasing more information later today. No update on the suspect who was also shot.

On May 8th 1957 a T-33 made an emergency landing on Texas State Highway 171 northwest of Cleburne. Pilot said his plane ran low on fuel and was having radio trouble, couldn't reach Carswell and decided to sit down on the highway. I drove by the the location this weekend.
