One undeniable fact of post-pandemic life: You are going to pay more for restaurant food. Get ready.

This seems like a common reaction to the new CDC guidelines, but I find it mystifying. If you're fully vaccinated, your risk of catching Covid is vanishingly small, and your risk of transmitting it is even smaller. So why does it matter if those around you are vaccinated?

The menuless restaurant is still a dream. No prices, no menu, no book report explanation of every dish, eat what is served, leave a few bucks on your way out, take extra to give someone who's hungry.

After forty plus years of everyone preaching at kids, "be yourself," we're surrounded by assholes. Let's switch to, "straighten the fuck up. People can see you."

But....you fail to mention he's +1, so who cares?

I don’t have data to back it up yet but restaurateurs are telling me that since NYC opened up, customers are leaving more critical reviews of restaurants and expectations are at pre-pandemic levels. Please remember restaurants are still in crisis & operating very short staffed.
