I sent this Substack out yesterday and someone replied asking me to remove their email from my “hideous [woke] database”. They thought I was genuinely quoting Sadiq Khan - “diversity is our strength” - and love EDI/ identity politics. Maybe I’ve gone too far with the old sarcasm!

Farage is right. And he is also the target of major a type of hounding that is very dangerous for democracy. The Radical Left has near complete institutional control & huge amounts of funding yet can't stomach ONE man, his crime being to provide opposition! It's disturbing.

As Leeds Uni alumni, I gotta say... Keir Starmer reminds me of a certain type of bloke there. As a student I wasn't very political, so I wasn't attuned to these things at the time. But he is emblematic of a certain type of asexual Leeds Uni man; reptilian but radical.

Just what we need. Another layer of bureaucracy. Also a lot of Truss's plan was GOOD: the supply bits! The error was not building up supply (eg housing) before cutting taxes. But at least she wanted to build + let ppl keep more of their £, unlike your Party of Penny Pinchers.
