Almost every Peter Brook painting breaks me

In ‘Last Tuesday - In the North of England’ Peter Brook’s title is surprisingly vague about the location of the painting, in the absence of any readily recognisable landmarks leaving us to ponder where it might be. Presumably not the Pennines! (Sold by Bonhams in 2012)

‘Looking at Silence’, an interesting concept, is a painting with an almost spiritual feel to it. Peter Brook, standing motionless with Shep in a gap in the wall, is clearly moved by the vast empty landscape before him, the mist moving down the valley adding to the atmosphere.

We caught up with With Bite alum Charlotte Tierney about her excellent debut novel, The Cat Bride! Charlotte spoke to us about writing long versus short fiction, the emotional journey of publishing and who she'd have at her dream literary party.
