Earlier this month, we had a wonderful evening with the NC League of Municipalities for their Town & State Dinner in Wilmington. I appreciated the opportunity to continue building strong partnerships that help our region — and the entire state — keep moving forward.

On this Good Friday, we reflect on the cross and the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for each of us. May His love guide us in all we do.

The stone was rolled away, and hope was made alive forever. Rejoicing in the power of the resurrection this Easter Sunday.

Today is Second Amendment Day. The right to keep and bear arms is a core American freedom. I will always stand with responsible gun owners and defend this right from government overreach. Our rights matter, and I will always fight to protect them.
