Such an amazing person. Such a great achievement. Because her support on this day meant the Port of Dover remained Forever England.

I really couldn't care less for Mr Barnier's public whinges. I and millions of Britons have had enough of the EUs belittling/ hectoring - they got away with it due to the hung parliament but no more. Do a fair deal with an independent country or simply just do one.

Here is my statement after the conclusion today of the fourth Round of UK / EU negotiations.

There could be no greater mistake than to jeopardise everything we have striven to achieve by proceeding too far and too fast.

We must all continue to #StayAlert , so that we can control the virus and save lives.

I would also like to make clear that the EU have from us a full set of draft agreements, as set out in my next tweet.

This week we will commence negotiations on a free trade agreement with our friends and allies the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇲.

We will be working to bring benefits to all parts of 🇬🇧 and boost our economies during #coronavirus recovery.

1/3: I know how hard and how stressful it has been to give up even temporarily those ancient and basic freedoms, not seeing friends, not seeing loved ones, working from home, managing the kids, worrying about your job and your firm.

Fantastic to see Boris Johnson outside Number 10 this morning, delivering such a positive and encouraging statement.

Staying at home is working. It is protecting our NHS. It is saving lives.

But if we stop now all our efforts will have been for nothing. We must keep going.
