The latest rain has been great for our pond. When we moved here almost 11 years ago, the pond was a lot larger . The last few years because of the drought the pond dried up.

I am finally sharing that painting. I was working on. It’s OK. I am out practice . I can always do better. That’s my motto. Besides the painting, I decided to draw it on my iPad too.

I bought a new picture book of my adopted home state. I wasn’t born here but I’ve been here for 45 years. The pictures in this book are gorgeous . Priced at $15 . I had to have it . 😀

Listen to that wonderful sound . It has been raining since midnight . Even though the thunderstorms kept me awake most of night . I am happy it’s raining. Our area has been in a drought for the last 3 years and any drop of moisture helps . 😃
