Year 7s have been studying The Tempest and debating whether Prospero, the play’s central character, was a good parent. Mrs Brosnan’s class set up a brilliant courtroom scene and summoned Prospero to trial. They made some fab props and costumes and argued their case to the judges

Last week, our year 10 GCSE Drama students performed their showcase plays. 'Charlie and Bram' was about an invisible student and 'Crossroads' about selling your soul to the devil. The group worked together brilliantly as a team to produce two excellent, professional shows. 👏🎬🎭

One of the most popular features of our Post-16 Experience Days is the Employer Speed Networking event. We invite a range of local employers to have stalls in our hall. This successful careers event gives students the opportunity to speak directly to a wide range of businesses.

Our Sports Day really showed the best of Chapel High. Students tried their best, supported each other and represented their houses and the school in a fantastic way as they took part in track and field events on a hot sunny day. Thanks Nestlé Buxton Water for keeping us hydrated

We're very proud of year 7 and 8 students who were recognised for their Academic Attainment and Make A Difference at our Celebration Evening. Guests were in awe of our speaker, boxer Jack Massey, who talked about hard work, determination and resilience, and to follow your dreams.
