On Thursday last week The Change Foundation was chosen to be the supporting charity of the Lloyd's Rugby 7’s at Richmond Athletic Ground, which gave us the opportunity to increase awareness of our work and to do some fundraising.

This #shoutoutfriday we want to thank WBC Cares UK (WBC Adaptive boxing) for delivering a taster session to our London Futures programme participants.

The young people really enjoyed the session and learnt how boxing can be inclusive for everyone.

On Thursday last week, the first really warm day of the summer Andy and Dean were lucky enough to be joining our Fencing 4 Change partners, St. James's Place on their 20km Thames Kayak from Greenwich to Battersea.

On Friday we hosted a private lunch in the upstairs Elite restaurant at Balls Brothers of London Minster Exchange supporting visually impaired rugby for The Change Foundation. Our guests were entertained by Neil Back MBE and Simon Shaw hosted by our very own George Chuter

The camp as always was great fun for the families there, but it couldn’t have been as amazing as it was this time around thanks to Dizzie, Jackie, Igor & Ruslan!

The Change Foundation and St Michael’s Fellowship are excited to be partnering to offer a NEW group starting May 9th for young mums wanting to get active 🏋️‍♀️

Movement is key to supporting our mental and physical wellbeing 🧠 , which is particularly important for young mums out there! 👶

Our Champion of Change for March is Carol Driver.

After 33 years at The Change Foundation, Carol retired last week and we will all miss her wisdom, calmness under pressure and the care she showed for our staff team.

On Friday we visited Rosslyn Park to put on a demonstration fixture of Visually Impaired Rugby.

With over 12,000 young people attending across the week-long schools tournament, and a live stream to thousands of supporters, it was an opportunity not to be missed.
