Another great video of #Chimpanzee tracking in #Uganda using ConservationAI. This Chimpanzee model has been developed for Chester Zoo and Uganda Wildlife Authority to help with their studies to protect and understand Chimpanzee behaviour in Uganda. @LJMUImpact youtu.be/6C1xFZ4zkMw
A group of #Chimpanzees being detected in #Uganda. Some quite difficult detections here especially the baby Chimpanzee on the back of another and the one that is heavily occluded by vegetation. Chester Zoo Chester Zoo Learning Uganda Wildlife Authority @LJMUImpact youtu.be/CAWJKOj_AlY
It is great to be partnering with The Sloth Conservation Foundation to install 4G ConservationAI cameras in #CostaRica to monitor how #sloths and other animals use Sloth Bridges. @LJMUImpact
First sighting of a #cheetah caught in our #AI Camera traps in #SouthAfrica. Very exciting!!!!! Welgevonden_official, @LJMUImpact
We are pleased to release a world first for automated Pangolin detection using camera trap data in partnership with Chester Zoo. Hopefully, this will be a useful tool in safeguarding #Endangered #Pangolin populations. @LJMUImpact youtube.com/watch?v=QkXjtT…
Using a new methodology we developed - Applied Situated Learning - we can locate and identify different species that are difficult to see in natural environments. Chester Zoo Welgevonden_official Knowsley Safari Tusk Liverpool John Moores University @LJMUImpact
ConservationAI is very excited to receive its new stock of KEEN Trail Camera cameras from @Reolink. We will be deploying them in the coming weeks so watch this space :-). Thank you Reolink, KEEN Trail Camera and @lorenz #ArtificialIntelligence #conservation
We had a great day installing our ConservationAI cameras in City of St. Asaph to monitor Deer with Lee Oliver and Bleddyn Thomas from GWCT Cymru | Wales #ArtificialIntelligence and #conservation
Great to see our new Reolink AI cameras in @PilansbergNP in South Africa. This detection was recorded in the UK and sent back to @PilansbergNP (over 8000 miles away) in under 30 seconds over a cellular network. Here are some bird detections using the new Reolink KEEN Trail Camera camera. This camera is useful as you can remotely control the camera to allow for better positioning and avoid obstacles that falsely trigger the camera. ConservationAI would like to thank @vodacom for sponsoring our comms in #SouthAfrica for the next 18 months. Reolink GO cameras will be deployed to support conservation. University of Liverpool Comp Sci, Liverpool University of Liverpool News, Reolink, Vodafone UK Vodacom
Fantastic to see our work in the Institute of Physics "Physics: Investing in our Future" report that shows how ConservationAI is helping to tackle the crucial problem of rapid biodiversity loss using #Drones and #MachineLearning Liverpool John Moores UniversityImpact, @LJMU, WWF iop.org/policy/physics…
Great to see our paper published in the British Ecological Society Ecology and Evolution Journal. The paper provides and interesting evaluation on platforms that process #cameratrap data using #AI. @LJMUImpact ConservationAI #MachineLearning, #ecology besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/20…
ConservationAI AI has launched its Desktop Client which allows you to upload your data to ML models, view your results in near real-time, and export your results as a csv, excel of pdf file. You can download the client from the Conservation AI home page. @LJMUImpact
On the 22/09/2022 ConservationAI processed 1 million images, and detected 273k animals. Six months later and we have processed just under 2.4 million and deteced just under 600k. In the next 6 months we predict we will double this - lets see. AI for Good 🇺🇳 #AIforGood Liverpool John Moores University
OK, on the 28th March 2023 we predicted we would double our processed image count from 2.4 million to 5 million in the next 6 months. We did it in 28 days - WOW!!! @LJMUImpact AI for Good 🇺🇳 #AIforGood WILDLABS Community
