Vasquez Rocks today on the road trip. Managed to get in a good hike too! I can’t even say how nice it is to spend it with the oldest. He’s 19 and will be out in the world some day, every second is cherished.

Kinda bummed. Was planning to fly out to Cali today with my oldest and go to Six Flags for my birthday. Dang morning coastal bs in Cali looks like it will force me to drive.

Todays adventures were a 2 mi/600ft vertical climb a trail with a jog back down. Gonna get this beer belly off of me if it’s the last thing I do lol. Saw some pretty things along the way.

Got to fly up to Cedar City today with my flying buddy LOREN HORN Horn for brunch. T’was a ridiculously gorgeous southwest morning. One of those times I just feel extremely grateful to experience life. #avgeek #pilotlife
