I don’t know how the politicians can look kids in the eye and say, “I chose the profits of already-rich people and bulldozers over the likely survival of species that took millions of years to evolve.” I guess not many of them look a lot of kids in the eye, come to think of it.

In just a single minute Tracey Holmes cuts to the heart of what is tearing at the fabric of social cohesion in Australia.

Fear mongering politicians & a mainstream media which seeks to divide & instill fear. A toxic recipe which must be addressed.

PM Albanese dismisses Dutton’s suggestion that Ministers O’Neil & Giles should be sacked & says it’s time for Dutton to cut the crap & make “some policy announcements” & reminds of Dutton’s Immigration “debacle” & his infamous “GP tax every time ppl wanted to go to the Dr”🔥💥

Interesting watching ABC, Sky, giving a platform to the Coalition to attack the govt, but none have asked why they or their own leader Spud did not show up.

PM could have handled things better but I’m glad he showed up.
Dutton wouldn’t dare walk through a crowd of strong women

I don’t mind those criticising the PM’s actions at the rally on Sunday but those who definitely can’t criticise are those who didn’t even bother to show up like Peter Dutton, Bridget McKenzie & Sussan Ley, who also did nothing to support women for 9 years while in govt.

Israel and the US have started construction on a Port built with the bodies of over 40,000 dead Palestinians…

The Port is located 20 miles off the $500 billion dollar Gaza Marine Oil & Gas fields…

Israel isn’t just stealing Palestine, they’re going to steal their…

Lachlan’s “messaging” methodology by omission. Ignore the Australia-wide women’s rallies. Next? Sool Janet Albrechtsen on to the presumption of men’s innocence as women are killed in domestic violence cases (alleged assailant known to them) at the rate of one a week. 👇

The Murdoch Empire which salivates about how many buttons there are on Megan’s dress , Mundine’s investment successes and poor persecuted Albrechtsen lunching mate Lehrmann , thinks the domestic violence rallies are passé

Zoe Daniel says she’s “extremely disappointed” in the media for reporting on the High Court decision on detainees “as if it was the govt’s decision” & lashes the LNP for their reaction saying it’s “at best misinformed & at worst an attempt to manipulate public opinion”🔥

Patricia Karvelas How? By asking a few questions? Was any of them in a relevant Ministerial position? You need to get Marise Payne, Ann Ruston & the other members of Morrison’s “Women’s Cabinet” on; those who had specific responsibility.
Why not?? They are the ones dodging accountability.

Another woman has been killed by male violence today.

That’s 13 women in April alone

That equals the number of Australians killed by terrorism in Australia in 108 years

We need a national emergency to be declared & we need political action now

Enough is enough

Headline an Opposition anywhere would relish 7 months after an election. Fast & furious repeal of legislation by incoming government, planning legislation with major governance risks, a lurch back to military partnerships of yore: taking a toll? 1news.co.nz/2024/04/29/pol…

The SMH angrily demands... yet another inquiry into domestic violence. Yep let's have a three-year royal commission that eventually recommends the same stuff as the last dozen inquiries

I think I understand why people stay silent when they observe bad conduct….but if Fran Bailey had spoken out Morrison would never have been PM..if harassed women had spoken there would be no Joyce…think about what difference those two events would have made to Australia.

Time for more fairness in Budget. Need a commitment to a forward timetable to increase jobseeker and youth allowance . Could be funded by restricting or abolishing negative gearing and capital gains tax concessions that conspicuously favour the wealthy .
