On Oct 19, 2010, A. Paramedics Of BC lost 2 paramedics in what is now known as the Kennedy Lake Tragedy. Unit Chief Jo-Ann Fuller & paramedic Ivan Polivka died while returning to Tofino after a response to Port Alberni. There is now a permanent memorial near the crash site. SEMPER MEMORIA
