It is in governments’ best interest to work with civil society in the P/CVERLT.

This was one of the key messages of the OSCE Seminar marking a decade of support for inclusive, #gendersensitive & #humanrights based responses and policies to #PCVE .

Speaking on the successes of the Albanian CVE Centre, which is considered a model in the Balkans, Lejdi Dervishi highlights how they learned from the successes and failures of neighbouring countries' CVE responses to returning FTFs and prepared an action plan for repatriation.

DG NEAR's Acting Director General Maciej Popowski participated today in a high-level meeting taking place in 🇦🇱 #Albania . The 🇪🇺EU is a strong supporter of GCERF & their work on #rehabilitation and #reintegration to prevent violent extremism, in the #WesternBalkans & beyond.

NL underlined the need for an agile global approach with Raffi Gregorian United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism and regional challenges in Somalia, Sahel and Central Asia with civil society as essential element in effective CT.
