The Octavia Hill Garden has won the People’s Choice award at #RHSChelsea . The seating is made from trees that came down in Storm Arwen. It features a new seedling grown from the Sycamore Gap tree. And it is lovely. Our founder believed in nature, beauty & history for everyone.

A ceramicist has contacted me to seek permission to quote these words about scones, on a plaque. Move over Blue Plaques, the baked goods are coming and they want their share of the historic record.

Wonderful to see Stoneford Community Garden in Dagenham featuring in the BBC’s Chelsea Flower Show coverage. The half-acre garden was left to the local community by a resident and opened by the National Trust in 2022. It’s loved, cherished and run by local volunteers ❤️ 🌳 🌺
