We're having some unexpected (I wasn't aware, but they were planned) renovations and a water heater replacement taking place over the next few weeks, so my workspace is currently full of other people's stuff. I'm going to try and get next week's video out but I might get delayed.

My bitterness for Linux stems from the day many years ago my Ubuntu kernel in an update decided S3 chipsets were no longer supported as "minimum" and either I had to add it back in myself of buy a newer computer. I don't think even Windows has screwed me over that hard.

NTT has a cool telephone museum in Mitaka. Mostly static preservation displays but there is a magneto PBX switch board and phones you can play with as well as others. The trouble is… most phone fr33ks hardly have anything to say when a call is placed.

You were so awful I switched to Windows XP in 2008 and stayed on goddamn XP for another eleven years, then switched to Windows 7 for the last 6 years. You were *that* bad, Linux. I used an OS until it was old enough to drink in most places because you kept moving goalposts on me.

Thank you to SDF for recommending I take an afternoon to visit the wonderful museum and workspaces at 夢の図書館+マイコン博物館+模ラ博物館(公式) Microcomputer Museum Japan the whole visit was fantastic, everyone was very polite and the many machines and projects on display were fabulous!

He bought most of the name but not the underlaying technology developed or patented by Commodore. The only power he gains from this purchase is to restrict what can and can not use the Commodore name and branding on products, to an extent.
