The US is setting assault cops on students and faculty on US campuses. Police brutalities are on the rise. This country is willing to destroy its own children & any shred of democratic governance so that the power elite can do genocide & steal land. This is a fascist state.

Also? There's a LOT of conversation about the legality of protesting that conflates the law and morality. And either you're smart and being intellectually dishonest, or you're dumb and should sit these discussions out. At no point in history have laws equaled morality.

Black folks have long warned about police being militarized,police using gratuitous violence to effectuate arrests & police callously disregarding Constitutional rights. We are the canary in the coal mine that gets ignored. What’s done to us eventually hits the masses..

The reporting from WKCR-FM NY is stunning. Students journalist doing war zone-like reporting from their own campus. It’s a heartbreaking listen, but also inspiring because they are pros who are holding back no punches about the gravity of the moment.

We are witnessing the weaponization of law enforcement in New York City under the watch of a Democratic Mayor, Governor, and President—all because these leaders rather defend a genocide over listening to the voices of the people.

It’s wrong.

Not only is unleashing the police state on student protesters straining resources, it’s not working. It grows crowd size exponentially putting more students at risk, creates more unrest & then just repeats.
