This fine individual received words of love and support from Tajh Sutton on CEC14’s latest meeting. It all leads to the same rotten place - the antisemites’ lair (or really, rat hole).

Why is CEC14 still in place? Chancellor David C. Banks Dan Weisberg NYC Public Schools Nathaniel Styer

Deputy Mayor Joshi said it out loud - in order to achieve smaller classrooms, it will require a “reallocation of students and resources among schools.”

leonie haimson ClassSizeEquity The claim that the “vast majority of parents” want small class size is an outright lie. I just filled the school survey which asks that question every year . It hasn’t been the top request from parents in years. Parents overwhelmingly want enrichment - see 2022

Both ⁦Mayor Eric Adams⁩ and ⁦⁦Chancellor David C. Banks⁩ have slammed the law, painting it as a costly unfunded mandate imposed on the city — even as state lawmakers insist there’s adequate funding to comply. nypost.com/2024/04/16/us-…

Meanwhile, the recommendation to establish a commission to study longer-term reforms could actually offer mayoral control “a reprieve,” Bloomfield said, noting “it has the effect of extending mayoral control in the near term.”

Congratulations, CEC28, for seeing the train wreck in the horizon and trying to prevent it to protect the families in your district!

Invaluable info for anyone applying to High School in NYC

Amélie Marian should be credited for forcing NYC Public Schools to be more transparent about a byzantine process

The NYC HS admission survey to identify the 2024 lottery cutoffs is live: tinyurl.com/2024NYCHSLotte…

Many families use information generated from the survey for their HS application. Hopefully, NYC Public Schools will start publishing school cutoffs soon.

While remote meetings have boosted attendance citywide, make no mistake: it’s a shameless move to protect the CEC14 clique. Who in NYC Public Schools needs to keep Tajh happy - and silent?

And what prevented CEC14 from holding public meetings prior to October? Unshakable laziness?

NYC Public Schools is lying. They don’t want to hold those parents accountable because they support those parents’ actions. If it were parents or CECs they don’t like, they’d take action.
Parents and community members must sue otherwise NYC Public Schools will continue to violate the law and

A month later, Tajh & her minions are still holding zoom meetings and refuse registration to anyone they dislike - claiming their received threats (were those reported?). Their community agreement claims that they “do what they want in their space”. NYC Public Schools doesn’t care.

Proud that CCHS passed this important resolution to ban the use of NYC Public Schools as early voting sites. Thankful for Staten Island school administrators and faculty, parents and students who showed up and testified
