Members, if you are meeting candidates, we want your role as a place-based housing association to be part of the conversation. We know you are receiving a lot of information, so we've produced a short document to help - Sharing the Place-Shaping Message. Have a read. Get in touch

It has been a busy week but it was great to speak to Worthing Homes board on Tuesday, see brilliant colleagues from our communications network and emh homes on Thursday and join Peter Hubbard and the Governance Club to talk all things housing and the election today.

Looking forward to this one. Spoiler, I'll mostly be talking about the brilliant work of our members and why the next government should take a place based view of housing.

Credit to ForHousing for the expression 'working at the speed of trust' and for sharing their experience of bridging and bonding spaces in the previous session on co-production.

I agree with this, but I'd also argue we should be more ambitious about how we use the space to build more social housing. And we need to make use of brownfield too. Definitely not binary.

Looking forward to meeting board members over lunch to look at how the outcome of the general election may change the work of boards. Spoiler, my view is things won't change much in the short term, we have a job to do and boards are getting on with it.

Great to be part of #Housing2024, hear unique insight from speakers, including @forhousing Andy Burnham and Toby Lloyd, and talk about housing and place. The GE was the hot topic - you can see our message for stakeholders here: placeshapers.org/general-electi…

1 day to #GE24 The next government has a real opportunity to build a new generation of social housing and kickstart regeneration. We stand ready to work with them to deliver on a #PlanForHousing and as #PlaceShapers to do more to help communities thrive. rb.gy/ri4ad9

Great to have the opportunity to share my view on the new government and how realising the potential of devolution could help solve the unique housing challenges every area faces.

Early start to get to Bristol for our second Leaders Event. Looking forward to a day with members discussing the General Election, Consumer Standards and changing housing need.

Great to be part of this conversation and some brilliant insights from the other panellists. Thanks to Inside Housing for inviting me and Martin Hilditch for the excellent hosting and chairing.

Great thread from Nick. Completely agree with the point about mopping up every £ of funding and getting organisations together at a local level to bring what they can and crack on. #PlaceShapers.
