When I’m not clambering around medieval churches, I embroider strange things. Here’s one I just finished of the White Horse at Uffington - a prehistoric landmark cared for by the National Trust. I spent so much time here as a child and it’s always loomed large in my imagination.

And on to a new project, just received - subfossils shells from Mauritius all with identical holes made by some sort of predator. However, there is no animal in Mauritius that could do that, so it must be an extinct predator: but what?
I do like a good mystery.
