I know it’s considered to be deeply uncool to be so thrilled about something but I’ll never stop being a fan first and foremost.

I was going through a horrendously awful time and this was a small chink of light in a very dark time. 2/3

This is WONDERFUL!
A beautiful version of my favourite Suede song. It maintains its essence of human failing, and adds a fresh layer of haunting vulnerability with the vocal interpretation. The synth pads are otherworldly adding to the feel.

This is really good - the original is one of Suede's most beautiful songs (their b-sides were often fantastic), and The Anchoress does her own thing with it while treating it with the love it deserves
