Hand-on wet lab session during today’s Biosense VT Principles and Biophysics course in Chicago. Jeffrey Winterfield Tim Larsen @BiosenseWebster Rush Arrhythmia Center RUSH Internal Medicine Parikshit S Sharma, MD, MPH, FACC, FHRS Hemal Nayak William H. Sauer, MD Usha Tedrow #Epeeps
ICE made all the difference today in this #3DCTI—our final CTI line was almost as tall as it was long due a pouch! Real time visualization helped improve safety and efficiency. Careful mapping creds to our fellow Aalap Narichania! University of Chicago Cardiology Fellowship UChicago Pritzker School of Medicine #Epeeps
Another good LA flutter case around the mitral annulus. Wouldn’t terminate with mitral isthmus line, but got successful block at site of scarred slow conduction (coherent) with nice fractionated EGMs. Kevin Iverson comes through again! #EPeeps @BiosenseWebster
Nice experience with the CARTOSOUND ICE catheter across the septum in the left atrium to help guide and assess WATCHMAN deployment (before and after samples shown). Thanks to Kevin Iverson & Eric DeShazo RDCS for the nice images. #LAAO #EPeeps @BiosenseWebster NM Cardiovascular
Looks nice! Kevin Iverson when do we get ours!? #EPeeps
Nice atypical atrial flutter case. History of previous PVI for #AFIB. Coherent clearly shows area of slow conduction through the Coumadin ridge (thanks Kevin Iverson, @BiosenseWebster). #EPeeps Bradley Knight
Very nice sarcoid #VT case. Initially mapped in sinus rhythm with late activation pointing to scar on the basal lateral RV free wall. [Excellent maps and videos by Allie Buck, @BiosenseWebster] #EPeeps #CardioTwitter NM Cardiovascular Alex Chicos
🚨 Hot off the press. New #freeread in #JICE Authors Tom De Potter Andrea Sarkozy Richard Schilling investigate the feasibility and safety of the OCTARAY catheter to successfully map complex arrhythmias in a multicenter study. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ rdcu.be/cJ5Pz #EPeeps #CardioTwitter
#Epeeps 1/6 - We are happy to see our study "High-Frequency, Low-Tidal-Volume Mechanical Ventilation Safely Improves Catheter Stability and Procedural Efficiency During Radiofrequency Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation" published. Happy to have early access to OPTREL. Used for Ventricular and Atrial cases. Great maps. Local activation vectors are very helpful. Looking forward to making it the go to catheter, especially for VT. Seth Sheldon MD rhea pimentel @BiosenseWebster Jacob Koruth Sandeep Gautam Dr. Devi G Nair
It is with great honor on behalf of all co-investigators I present the #SURPOINT COA Study, which confirms the reproducibility, safety, and effectiveness in paroxysmal AF Link ⬇️ Montefiore Health System Montefiore Heart #JACCEP #EPeeps @BiosenseWebster JACC Journals authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S24…
First ablation procedure in our newly renovated NM Cardiovascular EP lab - an incisional flutter that terminated with the first burn! Alex Chicos Graham Lohrmann Kevin Walker.
Another beautiful lateral RA flutter. Previous cardiac surgery history. Terminates with connection to the IVC. These are satisfying. [Map is handy work of Kevin Iverson] #EPeeps, #CardioTwitter @BiosenseWebster
