We heard your feedback about our ticketing system—both on the fees & ease of use.

In response, we're unveiling a new and improved ticketing system on May 6th - complete with a better user experience & lower fees.

To do this, we need to pause ticket sales from today until May…

I want to make it my mission for more big, mainstream environmental organizations to get on board with advocating for public transportation. Not as an afterthought or a mention, but as one of the most powerful tools in the toolbox.

Thrilled that at Capitol Corridor Board we unanimously approved business plan that restores pre-pandemic service!

Currently there are 24 weekday Sacramento-Oakland trains. Next year there will be 30.

Increasing service will make riding more convenient and grow ridership.

Calling on California Governor and Rob Bonta to issue a clear statement on these attacks and for law enforcement to protect the protestors. Allowing lynch mobs to attack protesters must be condemned.

Happy May Day.

For some, May Day is a day meant for welcoming spring. For others, it's also a day of radical working class solidarity and protest for workers’ rights.

It's time for our annual thread: the story of how May Day started in the U.S.

“Clashes” didn’t break out. Violence didn’t “erupt.” Pro Israel protesters at UCLA violently assaulted peaceful anti-war protesters while cops watched.

Columbia's web page discussing its regret for calling in police to arrest students in 1968 is displaying a warning about limited access due to NYPD on campus arresting students.

May Columbia never live this down.

Instead of all this, Columbia could simply not invest in Lockheed Martin and other companies profiting off occupation and genocide.

When City Councilmembers pass massive budgets for police departments, they literally arm the police for moments like this. Every police officer pictured here is being paid, every piece of equipment they have has a cost. What else could our communities fund instead?

Massive brutal police repression of students. Called in by administrators. With the Biden Administration’s vocal support. All to protect a genocide. During an election year. Morally revolting and politically suicidal.

while we obsess over every tiny moment at student protests here, israel is planning to invade rafah, which is expected to be magnitudes more brutal than even what we've seen thus far thecradle.co/articles-id/24…

For the first time under President Biden Biden, the government will no longer treat marijuana the same as heroin.

It’s a big deal. I fought hard for this common sense and historic step.

We need to fully legalize marijuana and begin to repair the harms of an unjust war on drugs.

Call me naïve, but I think a progressive regional transit measure that taxes the rich and funds the bus (and train) would do well in Santa Clara and San Mateo county.

Bernie + Warren got about the same number of votes as Biden+ Trump.

This is a period of make or break. Political localism is teaming up with status quo bias to produce a fierce backlash against sufficient transit funding and a regional outlook on transportation. Your voice is needed.
