Today, our youngest chorister did her first solo and absolutely nailed it. The entire Choir grinned at her when she had finished, and I now can't stop beaming with pride. It's moments like these that make me realise why I do this job.

The 75th Coulsdon & Purley Festival of Music, was opened last night by Chairman Nathan Hempsey. The first performances of the Festival were song and we already have winners. Here he is with Accompanist, Marion Lea, Adjudicator, Julia Dewhurst and Festival Organiser, Gwen Russell.
