Higher Modern Studies pupils attended Prestwick’s Question Time event as part of Parliament week with Miss McDowall. Well done to Lily who stood up and asked the panel a question 🌟

S3’s were tasked with designing a flag which will be sent to ANTARCTICA through the UK Polar Network - a HUGE well done to Darci F (3B) for designing the winning flag 🤩 We are so looking forward to seeing it in the worlds coldest continent!! ❄️

A HUGE well done to our ‘Social Subjects Superstars 🌟 Pupils displayed excellent behaviour, demonstrated great effort and followed the Carrick Code!

A huge congratulations to 13 of our new S4’s who recently completed their Bronze DofE Expedition! They had a great two days of glorious weather and walked 21km across the Galloway forest, climbing Cornish Hill and camping at Loch Bradan.

The walk was challenging in the heat and the midges got to them on the 2nd day but they were resilient and coped amazingly. Well done team!

A great S1-S3 career fayre at Carrick Academy yesterday! The employers sparked a lot of interest with our pupils, especially those who will be picking their options soon.
