Senior Editor Stuart Pigott visited Domaine Stephane Ogier and tasted with Stephane Ogier. He tasted Ogier's single-vineyard Côtes Rôties from 2022 from barrel. During this vintage Stephane Ogier used demi-muid, 600-liter barrels allowing subtle maturation of the expressive reds.

Wine doesn’t have to be expensive to be great. And if you’re going for older vintages, it’s all about provenance/storage. This relatively “simple” négociant bottling from Jadot has been impeccably stored and is showing amazingly well.
